How to use Add Links to PDF
Choose your PDF, review the settings, and select Add Clickable Link. Check the result and use Download Result to save your new file. Your source file is unchanged.
Make an existing PDF clickable
Enter the destination URL and place a rectangle over the text, image or blank area that should open it. Percentages make the same relative placement usable on different page sizes. Use the blue outline in the preview to check placement before creating your file.
Web links and email links
Use a complete website address, such as https://example.com/contact, or a mailto: address. An invisible link can sit over existing artwork; a blue border makes the clickable area visible. This tool adds a single destination per run. To add more destinations, run it again on your downloaded copy.
Check links in a PDF reader
Open the downloaded file in a PDF reader and click the area. Some readers ask before opening external addresses. Rotated pages still use the underlying unrotated page coordinates, so the preview deliberately shows an unrotated page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it add visible link text?
No. It adds a clickable rectangular annotation over the existing page. Add visible text separately if needed.
Can I link several pages to the same website?
Yes. Enter all or a physical page range. The same relative rectangle and destination are added on each selected page.
